Adhemar Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Tiririca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Black Storm were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Germano Nascimento to make the kick off. Black Storm's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Tiririca.
