Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Messias took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benedito Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinei Lara in the 3rd minute. If Pedro Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Borges having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Pedro Messias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caco Borges. BIG BANG SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Messias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. BIG BANG SC's Caco Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Messias in the 21st minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Pajeu EC's Pedro Messias made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caco Borges was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Pajeu EC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luiz Guilherme Nóbrega hit a great ball. Kaká Queirós shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Rogério Nóbrega charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogério Nóbrega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes BIG BANG SC got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Nóbrega. Edinho Neiva fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 45th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. In the 47th match minute, BIG BANG SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Valle to maneuver through the defense. The BIG BANG SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pajeu EC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmílson Ribeiro made a kick off. Benedito Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute Claudinei Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Pedro Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Caco Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmílson Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Penha having to interfere. BIG BANG SC's Caco Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Messias in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Lara in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedito Penha saved Pajeu EC from getting behind. Claudinei Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benedito Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renato Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Borges having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Renato Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pajeu EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Renato Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caco Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmílson Ribeiro in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedito Penha saved Pajeu EC from getting behind. Claudinei Lara struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Benedito Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BIG BANG SC. Pajeu EC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
