Jardel Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Borges having to interfere. Amauri Diniz charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jefferson Peres spun around in front of the goal 25 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of BIG BANG SC's goal. 28 minutes into the match, BIG BANG SC's goalkeeper Caco Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristóvão Pinheiro. A collision led to Concordia getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Reynaldo Motta hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind BIG BANG SC's goalkeeper Caco Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jardel Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Borges having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BIG BANG SC's Edmílson Ribeiro got a free kick in the 40th minute. Caco Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Ferraz in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 played minutes BIG BANG SC got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Ribeiro. Jefferson Peres kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 46thth minute. Though ot was a great shot BIG BANG SC's keeper Caco Borges was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jardel Ferraz made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Jardel Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Concordia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jefferson Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Caco Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Tadeu Munhoz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Caco Borges quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Caco Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Peres in the 64th minute of the match. If Jardel Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caco Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th match minute, BIG BANG SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. BIG BANG SC's Claudinei Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Concordia got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Pinheiro. Jardel Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, BIG BANG SC's Edmílson Ribeiro got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Jefferson Peres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Concordia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After having played for 82 minutes, Jefferson Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concordia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jefferson Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jefferson Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caco Borges having to make a save. In the 84thth minute of the game Jefferson Peres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BIG BANG SC's Caco Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jardel Ferraz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caco Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Jefferson Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jardel Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Concordia were the better team. Concordia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
