Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aílton Favoretto got the match started through his kick off. Marcos Alcântara went to the wrong direction when Vito Jacinto was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Wilton Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Marcos Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 played minutes, Baje EC's Narciso da Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eliseu Cerezo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baje EC reached it. In the 17th minute, Cléber Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lauro de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Quintas SS's zone, Lauro de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Cerezo came out of the goal and Lauro de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilton Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Alcântara having to interfere. Aílton Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseu Cerezo came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Baje EC's Aílton Favoretto. But to his dismay, Aílton Favoretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Lauro de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baje EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauro de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Paulo Andrade was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Guilherme da Silveira got free with Eliseu Cerezo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clóvis Arósio charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clóvis Arósio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Quintas SS got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Arósio. Wilton Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Alcântara having to interfere. If Wilton Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauro de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baje EC's Aílton Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Paulo Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes Quintas SS got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Cruz. Eliseu Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lauro de Alcântara in the 83rd minute. If Aílton Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauro de Alcântara's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eliseu Cerezo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lauro de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Cerezo having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Baje EC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
