In the 12th minute Betinho Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Feirinha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Peres came free, but Erik Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doriva Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Guapira's Albertino Valadares couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Feirinha EC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulysses Pernambucano during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Feirinha EC booed when Guapira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysses Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulysses Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Clóvis Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fernandinho da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Betinho Peres was the one to do the kick off. Erik Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Peres in the 53rd minute of play. Clóvis Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Goiano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Feirinha EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Richard Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho da Mata having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Feirinha EC's Clóvis Matorin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernandinho da Mata. Fernandinho da Mata yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After 63 played minutes Feirinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Abraão. Edmílson de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Erik Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Betinho Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edmílson de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Guapira booed when Feirinha EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandinho da Mata made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Richard Goiano sent off a good shot on target. Edmílson de Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Erik Carioca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guapira. Frédson Terra's late challenge caught a Feirinha EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frédson Terra helped the player get up and apologised. Frédson Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Goiano got free with Fernandinho da Mata in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Edmílson de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guapira's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmílson de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Carioca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Guapira supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Feirinha EC's performance. The match ended with a win for Feirinha EC.
