In the 3rd minute Gualter do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter do Nascimento in the 7th minute of the match. Fogo Dourado's David Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Fogo Dourado from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute Clóvis Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Feirinha EC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Enrique Seco hit a great ball. Erik Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joélson Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes Feirinha EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sílvio Luís Fantini who took care of the corner kick. When Basílio Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fogo Dourado's protests and gave Basílio Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Feirinha EC booed when Fogo Dourado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. David Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Capixaba in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Fogo Dourado booed when Feirinha EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Júlio Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Sílvio Luís Fantini took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erik Carioca. Feirinha EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Clóvis Matorin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fogo Dourado's David Guerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Leonel Fernandez had to leave the field with a concussion. 41 minutes into the game, Perivaldo Prestes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fogo Dourado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Feirinha EC the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Fogo Dourado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Prestes to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes of play Fogo Dourado's Perivaldo Prestes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gualter do Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. Júlio Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Carlos Augusto Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Fogo Dourado's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Goiano came free, but David Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Gualter do Nascimento got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 67thth minute of the game Richard Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fogo Dourado's David Guerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Goiano in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Feirinha EC's Richard Goiano got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Richard Goiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Guerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Fogo Dourado defense, Richard Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Guerra. The Fogo Dourado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Guerra should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Feirinha EC's Júlio Abraão got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Richard Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fogo Dourado getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Luisão Alves hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Feirinha EC's Richard Goiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Guerra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Feirinha EC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Clóvis Matorin hit a great ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Gualter do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fogo Dourado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter do Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Feirinha EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
