Luís Eduardo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Dracena in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Claudinei Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidney Viana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luís Eduardo Almeida. Petunia EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ian Gomes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jardel Cardoso in the 21st minute. The supporters of Kong Blue FC booed when Petunia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Eduardo Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Dracena in the 31st minute of play. Oséias Dracena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Eduardo Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Luiz Fabiano Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fabiano Veiga during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Petunia EC's Luís Eduardo Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Correia in the 59th minute of play. Luís Eduardo Almeida made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Oséias Dracena sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséias Dracena got free with Luís Eduardo Almeida in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 played minutes Petunia EC got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Mendes. Oséias Dracena struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Luís Eduardo Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kong Blue FC. In the 69th minute, Jardel Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Petunia EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Oséias Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Eduardo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Correia in the 77th minute of the match. Luís Eduardo Almeida was a little too slow when Claudinei Correia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-2. Nildo Rosa hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Kong Blue FC's Luís Eduardo Almeida threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romário Prestes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 88 played minutes Petunia EC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Toscano. 89 minutes into the match, Kong Blue FC's Romário Prestes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 96th match minute, Kong Blue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Correia to maneuver through the defense. The Petunia EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kong Blue FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Kong Blue FC.
