Dadá Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Mandrak having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geraldo Urbano during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Apiuna SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Nelsinho Paraense was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Dadá Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dadá Faria got free with João Vítor Mandrak in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Apiuna SC booed when Tayassu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Tande, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Apiuna SC's goal looked a bit too open when Adalmo de Queiroz came free, but João Vítor Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geraldo Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Adalmo de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anderson Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Neves in the 33rd minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Dadá Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tayassu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dadá Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tayassu's Adalmo de Queiroz in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. João Vítor Mandrak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adalmo de Queiroz went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute André Luiz Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Luiz Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Anderson Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adalmo de Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Dadá Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tayassu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Apiuna SC for a fine match.
