Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tayassu's Adalmo de Queiroz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Adalmo de Queiroz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matías Santos. The goal made the score 1-0. Matías Santos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, Dadá Faria notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Curucamba SC's Matías Santos. Matías Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, Luiz Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tayassu were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Curucamba SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nelsinho Paraense took the corner. Victor Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Adalmo de Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matías Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, one of Tayassu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tayassu. Anderson Seco had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Luiz Hermes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Curucamba SC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Carlos do Valle hit a great ball. Adalmo de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Matías Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dadá Faria succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 44th playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco Bueno received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anderson Seco came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Bueno slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 55th minute. Adalmo de Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Curucamba SC's Marco Bueno in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tayassu's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Dadá Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tayassu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dadá Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Adalmo de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tayassu's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalmo de Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matías Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the game, Tayassu's Dadá Faria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matías Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. A hard shot by Ademir de Carvalho from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Anderson Seco's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Adalmo de Queiroz put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Matías Santos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Gerber got free with Anderson Seco in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tayassu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Curucamba SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
