Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as Ipoema SC's Caco Furlan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnaldo França. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. After 12 minutes, Emílio Meireles made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Martinesia's Arnaldo França tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vitório da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitório da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Vitório da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardinho Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Arnaldo França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elivélton Novaes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Ipoema SC's Abelardo Coelho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Emílio Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geraldo Viana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo de Godoi having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Bernardinho Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geraldo Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Paulo de Godoi made a huge save. If Emílio Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Azevedo in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Emílio Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnaldo França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Célio Varela hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Meireles in the 82nd minute of play forced Martinesia's goalkeeper Arnaldo França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Martinesia's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Meireles came free, but Arnaldo França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ipoema SC booed when Martinesia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardinho Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo França having to interfere. During the 93rd minute of the match Elivélton Novaes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Elivélton Novaes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 94th match minute, Martinesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Novaes to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Coelho, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bernardinho Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo França having to make a save. Ipoema SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
