The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcelo Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kauan Duarte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Luís Fernando Prestes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Laurendi came free, but Marcelo Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, A C Mediolanum's Luís Fernando Prestes got control of the ball when Kauan Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kauan Duarte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Luís Fernando Prestes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Nóbrega in the 44th minute of play forced Invictus FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Pedro Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to A C Mediolanum getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Fabiano Arantes hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Laurendi in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Cearense saved Invictus FC from getting behind. Flavinho Rosado hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauan Duarte in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Fernando Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Cearense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silas Nóbrega in the 70th minute. Marcelo Cearense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Laurendi went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Invictus FC booed when A C Mediolanum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Rodriguinho Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Invictus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodriguinho Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fernando Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute Kauan Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fernando Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ismael Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Ismael Bueno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Invictus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Luís Fernando Prestes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauan Duarte's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Invictus FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching A C Mediolanum's performance. The match ended with a win for A C Mediolanum.
