NAPALM DEATH's Durval de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Secco in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tostão Secco in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval de Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Manuel Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franklin Macedo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval de Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, NAPALM DEATH's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Macedo came free, but Durval de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Franklin Macedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NAPALM DEATH's Durval de Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cristian Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of NAPALM DEATH booed when Imarui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Manuel Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tostão Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Manuel Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Imarui's Zé da Fonseca got control of the ball when Cristian Paraibano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé da Fonseca having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Imarui got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Vides. NAPALM DEATH were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Imarui's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zé Augusto Coelho took the corner. Manuel Silveira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zé da Fonseca came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Silveira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tostão Secco to strike the kick off in the second half. Imarui's Tostão Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tostão Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Franklin Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Durval de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Secco in the 72nd minute of play. Franklin Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Paraibano in the 80th minute of play forced Imarui's goalkeeper Zé da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franklin Macedos short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Durval de Lima to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 89 minutes into the match, NAPALM DEATH's goalkeeper Durval de Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franklin Macedo. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind NAPALM DEATH's goalkeeper Durval de Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Alex Cosme fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imarui's protests and gave Alex Cosme a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th match minute, Imarui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cosme to maneuver through the defense. NAPALM DEATH's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
