After 7 minutes of play, Domelia's Dedê Reis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sydney Lara was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th play minute Paulo Renato Gaúcho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luisão Schmidt. 1-1. Vítor Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Lara having to interfere. If Vítor Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vítor Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sydney Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Paulo Renato Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Felipe do Rufa City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Renato Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaltino Coelho hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Vítor Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dedê Reis in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sydney Lara saved Felipe do Rufa City from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Dedê Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sydney Lara. Felipe do Rufa City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dedê Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Fabinho Lopes hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Vítor Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dedê Reis in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Domelia getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Eduardo Medeiros hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Domelia's Dedê Reis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. In the 65th minute Dedê Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vítor Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Reis in the 69th minute of play. If Vítor Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe do Rufa City's Paulo Renato Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luisão Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Paulo Renato Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão Schmidt having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Vítor Moura notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Felipe do Rufa City's Sydney Lara. Sydney Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the match, Felipe do Rufa City's goalkeeper Sydney Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Moura. Luisão Schmidt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Schmidt's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The Domelia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
