Eriberto Paraense hit a great ball. Sydney do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ademar Borges kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reginaldo Mumbach. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. The supporters of Oasis FC booed when Campinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Vladimir Marques sped through Campinho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aníbal Donatello. In the 23rd minute Ademar Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reginaldo Mumbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Sydney do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sydney do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ademar Borges made a kick off. Aníbal Donatello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladimir Marques in the 54th minute. After 54 played minutes Campinho got a freekick which was hit by Elói Marques. In the 55th minute, Abel Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reginaldo Mumbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Marques got free with Aníbal Donatello in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Elói Marques was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. After 74 minutes of play, Oasis FC's Vladimir Marques made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aníbal Donatello was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Vladimir Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Campinho's Aníbal Donatello got control of the ball when Vladimir Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Eriberto Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antônio Soeiro, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sydney do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginaldo Mumbach having to interfere. When Sydney do Vale came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Campinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney do Vale couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney do Vale in the 90th minute of play forced Oasis FC's goalkeeper Reginaldo Mumbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Campinho's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abel Schmidt 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. The Oasis FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Oasis FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
