Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrianinho Vieira in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrinho Chaves saved Portinha from getting behind. Juninho Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Nóbrega in the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Portinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Quintal to maneuver through the defense. If Abelardo Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulisses Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Nico Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borgueto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portinha the free kick. In the 26th minute, Nico Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulisses Nóbrega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juninho Antunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. When Adrianinho Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Borgueto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Vieira couldn't finish the play. After having played for 34 minutes, Gildo Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgueto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildo Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rubinho das Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedrinho Chaves having to make a save. Eduardo de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulisses Nóbrega to strike the kick off in the second half. The Borgueto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juninho Antunes should have stopped the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Portinha's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Vieira came free, but Pedrinho Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinho Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
