Hortêncio Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Luisinho Nóbrega came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by XESQUE EC's Benjamim do Vale. But to his dismay, Benjamim do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Central FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Recife came free, but Luisinho Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ediberto Medeiros's late challenge caught a XESQUE EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ediberto Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Ediberto Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Davi Ortiz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luisinho Nóbrega, 2-0. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ediberto Medeiros sped through XESQUE EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lauro Mesquita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Medeiros in the 28th minute of play forced XESQUE EC's goalkeeper Lauro Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisinho Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Mesquita in the 36th minute of play. The throw-in from Andrézinho do Valle in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Clube Atlético Central FC's Flávio Queiroz. After 40 minutes, Ediberto Medeiros made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. XESQUE EC's Lauro Mesquita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Mesquita in the 44th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Central FC's goalkeeper Luisinho Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Davi Ortiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XESQUE EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaldo Mesquita to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Gilmar da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atlético Central FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilmar da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Flávio Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atlético Central FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lauro Mesquita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute, Ediberto Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Central FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim do Vale came free, but Luisinho Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauro Mesquita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ediberto Medeiros in the 63rd minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Ediberto Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XESQUE EC's Lauro Mesquita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Paulo Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Ediberto Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luisinho Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Ediberto Medeiros notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of XESQUE EC's Lauro Mesquita. Lauro Mesquita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 79 minutes, Ediberto Medeiros made it 3-5 with a short kick to the right side. XESQUE EC's Lauro Mesquita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ediberto Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Flávio Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Ediberto Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 93rd play minute Luiz Paulo Lopes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lauro Mesquita. 3-7. Clube Atlético Central FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
