João Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ronaldinho Nogueira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hermínio Toscano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mathias Barros's late challenge caught a Piquira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathias Barros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Carambehy SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Barros to maneuver through the defense. Hermínio Toscano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Geovani Vergílio. 28 minutes into the game, one of Carambehy SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dadá Pirani succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Hermínio Toscano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldinho Nogueira in the 46th minute.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dadá Pirani to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, João Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Zé Pedro Trancoso put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carambehy SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Piquira. Geovani Vergílio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hermínio Toscano. 4-0. Dadá Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dadá Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Piquira's Ronaldinho Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronaldinho Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Dadá Pirani put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hermínio Toscano. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Hernani Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carambehy SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernani Berger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agostinho Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Varela having to interfere. Hernani Berger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Afonso Varela came out and tried to block the shot, but Hernani Berger slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Pirani in the 83rd minute of play forced Carambehy SC's goalkeeper Hermínio Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válbson de Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válbson de Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Carambehy SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Carambehy SC's zone, Ronaldinho Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermínio Toscano came out of the goal and Ronaldinho Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the game, one of Carambehy SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Piquira a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Geovani Vergílio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carambehy SC's Hermínio Toscano. 6-1. In the 93rd match minute, Piquira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Leite to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Carambehy SC's zone, Ronaldinho Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermínio Toscano came out of the goal and Ronaldinho Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarbas Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Hermínio Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Piquira players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
