Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when João Senna took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Benjamim do Vale notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carambehy SC's Hermínio Toscano. Hermínio Toscano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 7 minutes, João Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carambehy SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, XESQUE EC's Lauro Mesquita got control of the ball when Hernani Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lauro Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Senna in the 23rd minute of play forced XESQUE EC's goalkeeper Lauro Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute João Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lauro Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Senna in the 35th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Senna in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauro Mesquita saved XESQUE EC from getting behind. Arnaldo Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Mathias Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carambehy SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lauro Mesquita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half XESQUE EC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Mesquita to make the kick off. When João Senna came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Carambehy SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Senna couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Carambehy SC's Hermínio Toscano got control of the ball when Benjamim do Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lauro Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Senna in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Davi Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XESQUE EC and the Carambehy SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Davi Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Arnaldo Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Lauro Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauro Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Berger in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani Berger in the 84th minute of play forced XESQUE EC's goalkeeper Lauro Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carambehy SC's Hermínio Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Mesquita in the 87th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Mesquita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermínio Toscano. Carambehy SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Mesquita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After having played for 92 minutes, João Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carambehy SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Carambehy SC's Hernani Berger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lauro Mesquita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.
