In the 5th minute, Moreno EC's Nilmar Tavares seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nilmar Tavares the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Moreno EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nilmar Tavares had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 5 minutes into the game, one of Moreno EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Grêmio Imortals FC. Reynaldo Souto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fred Dante. 0-1. In the 17th minute, Grêmio Imortals FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fellipe Maciel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Moreno EC booed when Grêmio Imortals FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belmiro de Amaral made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Fellipe Maciel sent off a good shot on target. Fellipe Maciel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Belmiro de Amaral made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Moreno EC's Fellipe Maciel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belmiro de Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Dalmo Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Grêmio Imortals FC's goalkeeper Belmiro de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fellipe Maciel. If Fellipe Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If André Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Dalmo Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute of the match Grêmio Imortals FC got a corner. Moreno EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reynaldo Souto ran over to the corner to take the kick. André Mattos struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Fred Dante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio Imortals FC.

André Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Dante having to interfere. Grêmio Imortals FC's Andre LondeLalonde got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Grêmio Imortals FC were awarded a corner. Reynaldo Souto went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Grêmio Imortals FC's Alex Xavier to fire away a dangerous shot which Fred Dante despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Digo Quadros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moreno EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio Imortals FC the free kick. Digo Quadros hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Moreno EC's zone, André Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Dante came out of the goal and André Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Fred Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmo Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Fred Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Mattos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Fred Dante 81 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Moreno EC's goalkeeper Fred Dante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Mattos. Grêmio Imortals FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reynaldo Souto in the 86th minute. The corner led to Grêmio Imortals FC's Andre LondeLalonde getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 92ndth minute of the game Fellipe Maciel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Imortals FC's Belmiro de Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fellipe Maciel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Belmiro de Amaral having to make a save. Grêmio Imortals FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
