Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Oliveira started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Rui Linares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cazuza Rocha E.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Macaubas FC's zone, Rui Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cléberson Montenegro came out of the goal and Rui Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Rui Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cazuza Rocha E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Linares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th play minute Váldson de Alcântara came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cléberson Montenegro. 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Oliveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Percy Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 28th minute Daniel Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Macaubas FC's zone, Rui Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cléberson Montenegro came out of the goal and Rui Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Eduardo Tasso charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Eduardo Tasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Macaubas FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Luiz Eduardo Tasso hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Rui Linares put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cléberson Montenegro. Macaubas FC's Cléberson Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Macaubas FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Macaubas FC's zone, Váldson de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cléberson Montenegro came out of the goal and Váldson de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Váldson de Alcântara hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, Macaubas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Quintal to maneuver through the defense. Váldson de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Linares made a kick off. After some careless play in the Macaubas FC defense, Rui Linares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléberson Montenegro. The Macaubas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléberson Montenegro should have stopped the shot. When Cazuza Rocha E.C's Rui Linares in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Macaubas FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Macaubas FC defense, Rui Linares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléberson Montenegro. The Macaubas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléberson Montenegro should have stopped the shot. Percy Marques didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Oliveira went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. After 77 played minutes Cazuza Rocha E.C got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Rodrigues. Percy Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesley Vides hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 85 minutes of play, Cazuza Rocha E.C's Hélio Rodrigues made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléberson Montenegro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emílio Guimarães hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Cazuza Rocha E.C fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Cazuza Rocha E.C's Rui Linares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 99 minutes of play, Cazuza Rocha E.C's Rui Linares made it 8-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléberson Montenegro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Cazuza Rocha E.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
