Lapela EC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 76th minute, Ernesto Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Avahy AD's Fiori Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson Novaes in the 81st minute of play. If Ernesto Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléberson Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Fiori Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
