Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Douglas Leme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Pedro Marques went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Petunia's zone, Hernani Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédson de Andrade came out of the goal and Hernani Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Arapongas E.C.'s Douglas Leme got control of the ball when João Pedro Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arapongas E.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Tony Gomes scored to the left of an out of position Douglas Leme, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulista in the 23rd minute of play forced Petunia's goalkeeper Frédson de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Tony Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Paulista scored 3-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frédson de Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hernani Duarte took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frédson de Andrade. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Genílson dos Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Petunia's goalkeeper Frédson de Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Arapongas E.C. booed when Petunia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pedro Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Arapongas E.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Petunia.
