Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Valdo Antunes made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Delfino's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulista came free, but Oséias Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oséias Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dagoberto Vale hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Douglas Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Antunes in the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Pedro Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséias Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Delfino getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bernardo Falcão hit a great ball. Hernani Duarte struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Oséias Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arapongas E.C.. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Pedro Paulista took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Oséias Toledo to make any attempt to save it. David Meira scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Douglas Leme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hélio Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oséias Toledo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Hernani Duarte sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Delfino's zone, Pedro Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséias Toledo came out of the goal and Pedro Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Antunes in the 54th minute of play forced Arapongas E.C.'s goalkeeper Douglas Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Hernani Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arapongas E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hernani Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséias Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Arapongas E.C.'s Pedro Paulista in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Delfino's goalie prevented a goal. Oséias Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulista in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Valdo Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oséias Toledo came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Arapongas E.C.'s Pedro Paulista. But to his dismay, Pedro Paulista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 72 played minutes Delfino got a freekick which was hit by David Meira. Hernani Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias Toledo having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the game, Benjamin Cesaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arapongas E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delfino the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Arapongas E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Cesaro to maneuver through the defense. Valdo Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Leme having to interfere. If Pedro Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Arapongas E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Carlos Leme to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Leme made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Afonsinho Quadros sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Delfino's David Meira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. A collision led to Delfino getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Marcinho Nogueira hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
