The tension between the Caximba SC and the E.C.Mutum players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caximba SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! The referee gave E.C.Mutum a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Egídio Passos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caximba SC's Vânderson Maciel. 1-0. Otávio Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Vânderson Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Otávio Pontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vânderson Maciel. Caximba SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otávio Pontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 15 minutes into the match, E.C.Mutum's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Torres came free, but Renatinho Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Renatinho Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to E.C.Mutum getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Sidney Leme hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes, Caximba SC's Sílvio Luís Tepedino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Renatinho Lira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caximba SC reached it. After a rather tough play, E.C.Mutum's Lucas Cardoso got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Caximba SC's Zé Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renatinho Lira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. E.C.Mutum's Renatinho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carneiro in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of E.C.Mutum booed when Caximba SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luís Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Luciano Torres made a precise shot to the right of Renatinho Lira. E.C.Mutum's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The supporters of E.C.Mutum booed when Caximba SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Vítor Amorim made a kick off. The supporters of Caximba SC booed when E.C.Mutum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Luciano Torres sped through E.C.Mutum's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Renatinho Lira. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Vítor Amorim in the 64th minute of play forced Caximba SC's goalkeeper Vânderson Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luciano Torres came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Caximba SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Torres couldn't finish the play. Luciano Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Lira having to interfere. Caximba SC's Sílvio Luís Tepedino shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Renatinho Lira but with some difficulty. 78 minutes into the match, E.C.Mutum's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Torres came free, but Renatinho Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes, Caximba SC's Zeca Corrêa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Renatinho Lira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caximba SC reached it. Luciano Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 84 minutes, Lucas Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C.Mutum and the Caximba SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Lucas Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renatinho Lira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luciano Torres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 87 minute of play. If Luciano Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The E.C.Mutum fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Caximba SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
