Vânderson Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo de Andrade in the 8th minute of play. Vânderson Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the Vespasiano defense, Zé Carneiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armandinho Bittencourt. The Vespasiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armandinho Bittencourt should have stopped the shot. Tony de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Vânderson Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Paranaense in the 34th minute of the match. Luciano Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Carneiro scored 3-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armandinho Bittencourt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gildo Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson Maciel having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo de Andrade made a kick off. Gildo Paranaense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Vânderson Maciel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zé Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho Bittencourt having to interfere. Armandinho Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Torres in the 59th minute of play. Luciano Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armandinho Bittencourt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Torres in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armandinho Bittencourt saved Vespasiano from getting behind. Caximba SC's Vânderson Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo de Andrade in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo de Andrade in the 72nd minute of play forced Caximba SC's goalkeeper Vânderson Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Caximba SC fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Caximba SC's Luciano Torres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Cosme during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vespasiano! 85 minutes into the match, Caximba SC's Luciano Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armandinho Bittencourt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armandinho Bittencourt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Carneiro went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo de Andrade in the 94th minute of play forced Caximba SC's goalkeeper Vânderson Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Caximba SC's Luciano Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armandinho Bittencourt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 98th minute, Romeu Lucas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armandinho Bittencourt was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caximba SC had won after a very even match.
