Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luís Lago got the match started through his kick off. Arthur Coutinho made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Josué Freire sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute, Luís Lago reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arthur Coutinho. The goal made the score 1-0. If Luís Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Botucatu SS's Josué Freire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur Coutinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 24 minutes into the game, Josué Freire recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arthur Coutinho. Josué Freire showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After some careless play in the Botucatu SS defense, Ciro Trigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerônimo Simões. The Botucatu SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerônimo Simões should have stopped the shot. Horácio Moraes's late challenge caught a Botucatu SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horácio Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. Horácio Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Turiba SS's zone, Luís Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Coutinho came out of the goal and Luís Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Arthur Coutinho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arthur Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Fiori Schmidt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arthur Coutinho. The goal made the score 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Trigo to strike the kick off in the second half. Raúl Passos made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Turiba SS's Horácio Moraes. A collision led to Botucatu SS getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. José Augusto Eger hit a great ball. Horácio Moraes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Turiba SS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Arthur Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Horácio Moraes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Turiba SS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lenílson Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jerônimo Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fiori Schmidt hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Turiba SS's Arthur Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Freire in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute Luís Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Coutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by José Augusto Eger in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Turiba SS's Horácio Moraes. Josué Freire scored 5-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arthur Coutinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
