ADUBIDO got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Saraiva. The audience thought a goal was coming when Róbson Pereira got free with Haroldo Lara in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evaristo Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélio Queirós was slow to take the kick. During this time S.E. ADUBIDO's players had a chance to rest. Haroldo Lara made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Róbson Pereira sent off a good shot on target. Haroldo Lara was a little too slow when Evaristo Fonseca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-0. Evaristo Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Ernani Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Montenegro having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edinho Fontes made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, S.E. ADUBIDO's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Fonseca came free, but Haroldo Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Róbson Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toledos SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbson Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Fonseca took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo Lara. Haroldo Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 69th minute, Geovânio de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Toledos SS fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Toledos SS's Róbson Pereira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dadá Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Fontes in the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Fonseca in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. ADUBIDO's zone, Róbson Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Lara came out of the goal and Róbson Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. S.E. ADUBIDO's Haroldo Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Fonseca in the 89th minute of play. Róbson Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Haroldo Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Toledos SS had played much better football throughout.
