The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Téo Sampaio took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cido Sousa. Sport Club Baid's Ernesto Piola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Baid from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joélson Faria got free with Ernesto Piola in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernesto Piola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmundo Mesquita during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edmundo Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match, Diamantino Sanches tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernesto Piola saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Silvinho Reis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cido Sousa having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Luisão Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Baid's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisão Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cido Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Téo Sampaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cido Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 69th minute Giuseppe Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Piola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luisão Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes, Emanuel Pires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flexz and the Sport Club Baid players grew even worse after the yellow card. Téo Sampaio didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-3 via right post in the game's 75th minute. Sport Club Baid's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 81 minutes of play, Flexz's Giuseppe Figueiredo made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Piola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Téo Sampaio in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cido Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the match, Sport Club Baid's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Figueiredo came free, but Ernesto Piola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Baid's Roger Magalhães got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Edmundo Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovani Tasso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ernesto Piola. Sport Club Baid's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Flexz supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sport Club Baid's performance. The match ended with a win for Sport Club Baid.
