Edgar do Nascimento hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Alan Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Edgar do Nascimento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malta AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Malta AD booed when Lageadinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaltino Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match, Gualter de Queirós tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafa Capixaba saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Guilherme Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alan Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Lageadinho FC's Gualter de Queirós slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafa Capixaba. That made the score 2-1 after 36 minutes of play. Lageadinho FC's Alan Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Teixeira in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Gonçalo Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, Lageadinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Neto to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Lageadinho FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Lino Prado hit a great ball. Alan Veiga made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Gonçalo Teixeira sent off a good shot on target. After 62 minutes, Durval Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malta AD and the Lageadinho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Durval Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Edgar do Nascimento was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gonçalo Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafa Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter de Queirós in the 73rd minute of play. Alan Veiga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgar do Nascimento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 75 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Gonçalo Teixeira could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Alan Veiga however easily saved by the left post. Virgílio Saraiva hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Gualter de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th match minute, Malta AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Correia to maneuver through the defense. Rafa Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter de Queirós in the 90th minute of the match. Rafa Capixaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 96 played minutes Malta AD got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Ortiz.
