Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuca Schmidt started the match with the kick off. Samuca Schmidt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Durval Meireles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 5 minutes into the game, Kléber Quintal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itamby AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mαrαทнãσ Jαмαicα ƒc the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dudu Silveira in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurinho de Andrade saved Itamby AD from getting behind. If Giovani Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Durval Meireles was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Samuca Schmidt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samuca Schmidt really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovani Souto got free with Durval Meireles in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Itamby AD's Maurinho de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Bertassi in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Mαrαทнãσ Jαмαicα ƒc's Maurinho Bertassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurinho de Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Samuca Schmidt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Durval Meireles was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dudu Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Simão Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Durval Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Eduardo Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Durval Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Simão Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Mαrαทнãσ Jαмαicα ƒc's Vítor Guedes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 66th minute, Dudu Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mαrαทнãσ Jαмαicα ƒc's Dieguinho Ramalho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maurinho de Andrade but with some difficulty. In the 73rd minute, Maurinho Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuca Schmidt scored 2-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durval Meireles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuca Schmidt might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuca Schmidt ran back to his position shaking his head. Simão Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Maurinho de Andrade was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dudu Silveira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 89 minute of play. Durval Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Mαrαทнãσ Jαмαicα ƒc's Durval Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani Souto in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mαrαทнãσ Jαмαicα ƒc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Itamby AD.
