Nicolas Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Hélio Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Jaguarisinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Moura came free, but Silvério Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedé Oliveira in the 14th minute of play forced Camapoan's goalkeeper Hélio Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camapoan's Marquinhos Mumbach got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22ndth minute of the game Claudinho Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaguarisinho SS's Silvério Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dedé Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Hélio Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaguarisinho SS. After a rather tough play, Jaguarisinho SS's Dedé Oliveira got a free kick in the 29th minute. Silvério Souto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marquinhos Mumbach's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Marquinhos Mumbach put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Silvério Souto. 35 minutes into the game, Donato do Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaguarisinho SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camapoan the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jaguarisinho SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Vânderson Veiga hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes Jaguarisinho SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arlindo Coutinho who took care of the corner kick. Claudinho Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Camapoan were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dedé Oliveira was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio das Neves in the 54th minute of play forced Camapoan's goalkeeper Hélio Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fábio Martins during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Camapoan's zone, Nicolas Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélio Barros came out of the goal and Nicolas Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dedé Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Hélio Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Claudinho Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jaguarisinho SS's Donato do Valle got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Nicolas Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marquinhos Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Souto having to interfere. Marquinhos Mumbach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Silvério Souto made a huge save. After 97 minutes, Naldo Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Camapoan and the Jaguarisinho SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th match minute, Camapoan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Almeida to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Camapoan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
