When Fernandão Borges came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Crissiumal SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandão Borges couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Crissiumal SC booed when Camapoan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natanael Terra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marquinhos Mumbach went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Marquinhos Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Terra having to interfere. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Crissiumal SC's goalkeeper Natanael Terra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hélio Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão Cunha in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Marquinhos Mumbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camapoan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marquinhos Mumbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinho Moura was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Camapoan booed when Crissiumal SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandão Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute of the match Arlindo Coutinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natanael Terra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 88th minute Luizão Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natanael Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Mumbach in the 91st minute of play. If Marquinhos Mumbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Camapoan could leave the field as winners, despite Crissiumal SC having more of the ball for most of the match.
