Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Freire having to interfere. Claudinho Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Gernando Freire made a huge save. Marquinhos Mumbach succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 20th playminute. If Cícero Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, Camapoan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Moura to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Camapoan's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Mendonça came free, but Hélio Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Inácio Batista fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Made in Brazil's protests and gave Inácio Batista a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Made in Brazil booed when Camapoan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Naldo Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Freire having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Camapoan's zone, Cícero Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélio Barros came out of the goal and Cícero Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cícero Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Aníbal Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cícero Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélio Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Made in Brazil's Gernando Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Moura in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cícero Mendonça to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marquinhos Mumbach in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gernando Freire saved Made in Brazil from getting behind. Hélio Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Mendonça in the 54th minute of play. Marquinhos Mumbach struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Gernando Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camapoan. The supporters of Camapoan booed when Made in Brazil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osmar Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Made in Brazil's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Moura came free, but Gernando Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélio Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aníbal Nascimento in the 65th minute. Marquinhos Mumbach scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gernando Freire, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inácio Batista hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Arlindo Coutinho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Mumbach had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gernando Freire. Made in Brazil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marquinhos Mumbach was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Gernando Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Mumbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 83 minutes, Narciso Urbano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Camapoan and the Made in Brazil players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Camapoan's Arlindo Coutinho got a free kick in the 89th minute. Cícero Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio Barros having to interfere. Camapoan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
