Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo da Silva in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Mesquita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustavo da Silva took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Mesquita. Diego Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Freire in the 16th minute of play forced Partenon's goalkeeper Diego Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Ramiro Freire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jeru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Josué Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeru's Josué Quintal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Jeru from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Wiliam Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Partenon's Diego Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Freire in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Juninho Salgado made a precise shot to the right of Josué Quintal. Jeru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Toscano in the 32nd minute of play forced Partenon's goalkeeper Diego Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Mesquita having to interfere. If Gustavo da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Ramiro Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Freire was the one to do the kick off. With 52 minutes on the clock, Carlinhos de Carvalho commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Partenon! Diego Mesquita had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Fernão Gerber's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 55th minute, Jeru's Fernão Gerber ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diego Mesquita. Diego Mesquita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 58th minute, Flavio Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josué Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Juninho Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Ramos in the 68th minute of play forced Jeru's goalkeeper Josué Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Wiliam Eger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Partenon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jeru the free kick. After a rather tough play, Partenon's Wiliam Eger got a free kick in the 76th minute. Gustavo da Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Mesquita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Ramiro Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Partenon's goalkeeper Diego Mesquita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo da Silva. Ramiro Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juninho Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Quintal having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Partenon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Arantes to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 93rd minute, when Jeru's Fernão Gerber after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Diego Mesquita in Partenon's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. When the match was over Jeru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Partenon throughout the match.
