Eriberto da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 3 played minutes Oxford United Fc got a freekick which was hit by Sydney Rezende. The supporters of Camatei FC booed when Oxford United Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Camatei FC's Geraldo Secco tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the game, Camatei FC's Fellipe Pena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Botelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 16 minutes, Elói Ramos made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Camatei FC's Pedro Luís Silva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Camatei FC's Pedro Luís Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Camatei FC from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute Fellipe Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abelardo Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Franklin Fontes struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Pedro Luís Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oxford United Fc. 44 minutes into the game, Fellipe Pena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elói Ramos got free with Pedro Luís Silva in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franklin Fontes made a kick off. Adhemar Teixeira's late challenge caught a Camatei FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adhemar Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthur Pitta in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Botelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute Arthur Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luís Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Ramos in the 60th minute of play. Fellipe Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Botelho having to interfere. Arthur Pitta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Botelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Fellipe Pena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Abelardo Botelho made a huge save. In the 79th minute Arthur Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abelardo Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Pitta in the 80th minute of play. After 81 minutes, Geraldo Secco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Camatei FC and the Oxford United Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Geraldo Secco hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Betão Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Oxford United Fc's Adhemar Teixeira got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Arthur Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camatei FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arthur Pitta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Oxford United Fc's zone, Fellipe Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Botelho came out of the goal and Fellipe Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian de Medeiros's late challenge caught a Camatei FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian de Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Oxford United Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense.
