Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raúl Fernandes got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Novolino's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Doriva Britto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Novolino's Felipe Linhares got a free kick in the 6th minute. After some careless play in the Os de Butina defense, Aluísio Paraense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aírton de Barros. The Os de Butina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aírton de Barros should have stopped the shot. Frédson Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Aírton de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Raúl Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doriva Britto struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ademar Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Os de Butina. Doriva Britto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ademar Mesquita made a huge save. The supporters of Os de Butina booed when Novolino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrão Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doriva Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ademar Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Doriva Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Frédson Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Novolino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frédson Brasil couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Frédson Brasil kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aírton de Barros. That made the score 1-2 in the 67 minute of play. In the 70th minute Jerônimo Ramos suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Novolino getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Dedê Donato hit a great ball. Aírton de Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aluísio Paraense in the 78th minute. Frédson Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton de Barros having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Brasil in the 83rd minute of play forced Os de Butina's goalkeeper Aírton de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frédson Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Aírton de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doriva Britto took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ademar Mesquita. Ademar Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
