Murillo Proença didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Centenário Futebol Clube. Vítor Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tauary FC's Emerson Lago in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 84th minute Emerson Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnaldo Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Fausto Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centenário Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murillo Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Tauary FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Pires came free, but Murillo Proença reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Centenário Futebol Clube booed when Tauary FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gugu de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Rogério Nóbrega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tauary FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centenário Futebol Clube the free kick. Lauro Reis, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Centenário Futebol Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tauary FC:s goal. The Centenário Futebol Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Centenário Futebol Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
