Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luís Fabiano Teles started the match with the kick off. Valdomiro Luz didn't quite understand what happened when in the 5 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 10th minute Valdomiro Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, PowerGuido FC's Eusébio Magalhães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo de Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Teles in the 16th minute of play forced Dragão Goianiense's goalkeeper Reynaldo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Dragão Goianiense's Flávio Diniz got a free kick in the 27th minute. Eusébio Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo de Amorim having to interfere. Dragão Goianiense's Reynaldo de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Dragão Goianiense from getting a goal against them. Reynaldo de Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusébio Magalhães in the 36th minute. Eusébio Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Reynaldo de Amorim made a huge save. In the 41st match minute, Dragão Goianiense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Luz to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to PowerGuido FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Dinei Guimarães hit a great ball. Flávio Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Britto having to interfere.

Luís Fabiano Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Reynaldo de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragão Goianiense's Reynaldo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Teles in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Dinei Guimarães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PowerGuido FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dragão Goianiense the free kick. With an all-out effort, Dragão Goianiense's Giovani Britto threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flávio Diniz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Reynaldo de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Guimarães in the 64th minute of the match. Eusébio Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo de Amorim having to interfere. After 77 played minutes PowerGuido FC got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Guimarães. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dragão Goianiense! Jeremias da Cunha walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to Dragão Goianiense getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Aírton Senna hit a great ball. Eusébio Magalhães scored 2-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Dinei Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the PowerGuido FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinei Guimarães couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamim Pontes during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PowerGuido FC booed when Dragão Goianiense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamim Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Magalhães in the 98th minute of play. PowerGuido FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
