Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Claudinei Zilles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cauan Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donatello Maranhense having to interfere. When Flávio Mello came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Basuca SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flávio Mello couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute Flávio Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donatello Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Flávio Mello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donatello Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in A.C.Universidad's zone, Cauan Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donatello Maranhense came out of the goal and Cauan Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Jânio Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donatello Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Mello in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Luís Fernando de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Basuca SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fernando de Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Basuca SC's Flávio Mello dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 45th minute, Durval Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flávio Mello was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in A.C.Universidad's zone, Cauan Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donatello Maranhense came out of the goal and Cauan Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flávio Mello struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Donatello Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basuca SC. Celso Teles hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cauan Maia in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donatello Maranhense saved A.C.Universidad from getting behind. 73 minutes into the game, Diogo Donato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Basuca SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C.Universidad the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Diogo Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinei Zilles hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Donatello Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Cauan Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flávio Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Basuca SC's Cauan Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donatello Maranhense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Deivid Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Basuca SC were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after A.C.Universidad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberto Montenegro took the corner. After taking down the ball on Basuca SC's corner Alberto Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Donatello Maranhense quite easily take care of the ball.
