In the 14th match minute, Falfla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Gil Sanches hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Afonso Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jailson Soeiro made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Afonso Melo sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Afonso Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Soeiro having to interfere. Delfim Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Delfim Diniz made the kick off in the second half. Ivo Reis was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Delfim Diniz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Delfim Diniz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Mazinho Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Reis having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Erval's Afonso Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jailson Soeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ivo Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mazinho Perez in the 85th minute. When Francisco Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Erval's protests and gave Francisco Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. Falfla's Jailson Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Meira in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Erval had won after a very even match.
