Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Xaraco's Felipe Hoffmann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7th play minutes Damyan Ramadanov shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Michel Lago and just under the crossbar into goal. Elivélton Bastos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Xaraco's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 14th match minute, Xaraco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Cesinha de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Lago having to interfere. Tião de Amaral made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Elivélton Bastos sent off a good shot on target. Tião de Amaral was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Albertino Brasil. Xaraco's Kléber Palmeira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tião de Amaral but with some difficulty. Hermínio Cosme hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Tião de Amaral made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Elivélton Bastos sent off a good shot on target. Atlético Piauiense's Tião de Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Piauiense from getting a goal against them. The long shot by Kléber Palmeira in the 35th minute really tested Tião de Amaral's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tião de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Xaraco's zone, Cesinha de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Lago came out of the goal and Cesinha de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michel Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Tião de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Hoffmann in the 46th minute of play. Atlético Piauiense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damyan Ramadanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Piauiense's zone, Elivélton Bastos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tião de Amaral came out of the goal and Elivélton Bastos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesinha de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th match minute, Xaraco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha de Alcântara in the 63rd minute of play forced Xaraco's goalkeeper Michel Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Henrique Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha de Alcântara in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Cesinha de Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Michel Lago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique Magalhães got free with Michel Lago in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elivélton Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião de Amaral having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Atlético Piauiense got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Cosme. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Hoffmann in the 84th minute of play forced Atlético Piauiense's goalkeeper Tião de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xaraco were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Atlético Piauiense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enéas do Nascimento took the corner. Xaraco's Enéas do Nascimento was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tião de Amaral in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Cesinha de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Piauiense's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesinha de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Lago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michel Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Atlético Piauiense played a much better game than Xaraco and deserved their victory. The Xaraco players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
