Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes into the game, Laércio Guimarães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Conventos SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xaraco the free kick. If Rafinha Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Hoffmann in the 17th minute of play forced Conventos SC's goalkeeper Gustavo Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Machado came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Xaraco's Elivélton Bastos. But to his dismay, Elivélton Bastos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Elivélton Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Percival Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Michel Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michel Lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edu Vianna in the 36th minute. With his leg Michel Lago managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Conventos SC's Percival Carioca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Válter de Amaral took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Machado. Gustavo Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 44th minute, one of Conventos SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Conventos SC. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Xaraco. Enéas do Nascimento stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gustavo Machado. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Matheus Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Machado having to interfere. If Edu Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Conventos SC's Percival Carioca got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Xaraco's zone, Edu Vianna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Lago came out of the goal and Edu Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edu Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Luiz do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Michel Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Emerson Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emerson Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Michel Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xaraco's Michel Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Vianna in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Edu Vianna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Lago was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 85th minute, André Luiz do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Conventos SC got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz do Valle. Edu Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes, Basílio Motta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conventos SC and the Xaraco players grew even worse after the yellow card. 97 minutes into the match, Conventos SC's goalkeeper Gustavo Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elivélton Bastos. Xaraco were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Conventos SC's much stronger midfield.
