Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Serginho Fantini made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Dionísio Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldir da Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cacá de Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldir da Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Serginho Fantini scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cacá de Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dalmo Baiano struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Nico Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fineza. Tarcisio de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Soeiro having to interfere. Cacá de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Fantini in the 28th minute of the match. Cacá de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serginho Fantini in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, Serginho Fantini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chatuba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Fineza's zone, Serginho Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cacá de Sena came out of the goal and Serginho Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Waldir da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Chatuba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldir da Silveira couldn't finish the play. 48 minutes into the match, Chatuba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio de Sena came free, but Nico Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tarcisio de Sena made a kick off. Oswaldo Santos thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Nico Soeiro, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 1-2. Nico Soeiro came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Fineza's Tarcisio de Sena. But to his dismay, Tarcisio de Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 59 minutes, Tiago Arantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fineza and the Chatuba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The attack was good, but when Serginho Fantini in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Tony das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute, Tarcisio de Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tony das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Nico Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Fineza a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bernardinho Meira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chatuba FC's Nico Soeiro. 3-2. 79 minutes in the game, Serginho Fantini fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cacá de Sena having to interfere. In the 81st minute Tony das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarcisio de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Tarcisio de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Serginho Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chatuba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serginho Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cacá de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd match minute, Fineza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionísio Furtado to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chatuba FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fineza.
