Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luisão Passos kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tarcisio de Sena got free with Eduardo Penha in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Belchior Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Antônio Carlos Rezende fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itororo's protests and gave Antônio Carlos Rezende a yellow card for diving instead. Tarcisio de Sena's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Eduardo Penha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 12th minute, Abel Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Itororo's Geovani Ferreira got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Itororo's Geovani Ferreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cacá de Sena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Itororo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Geovani Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fineza's goalkeeper Cacá de Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Benedito Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovani Ferreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cacá de Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Geraldo Fontes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cacá de Sena. Fineza's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benedito Paraibano struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Cacá de Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itororo. Breno Bertassi hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Eduardo Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Arantes in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Benedito Paraibano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cacá de Sena was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Fineza booed when Itororo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedito Paraibano made a kick off. Geovani Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá de Sena having to interfere. The supporters of Itororo booed when Fineza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Belchior Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itororo's supporters rose to their feet, but Belchior Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cacá de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedito Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá de Sena having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Fineza's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Hoffmann came free, but Cacá de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedito Paraibano in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cacá de Sena saved Fineza from getting behind. In the 73rd match minute, Fineza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Meira to maneuver through the defense. When Tiago Arantes fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fineza's protests and gave Tiago Arantes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Itororo booed when Fineza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cacá de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Paraibano in the 77th minute of play. Geovani Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 played minutes Itororo got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Terra. Fineza's Dionísio Furtado pulled a muscle in his back after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 89 minutes into the game, Benedito Paraibano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itororo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fineza the free kick. Benedito Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Fineza's Leonardo Velasco suffered a sprained foot after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Doriva Tinoco's late challenge caught a Fineza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doriva Tinoco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fineza booed when Itororo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doriva Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cacá de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Fineza fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Itororo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
