Júlio Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When Tibaji EC's Júlio Perez in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 33rdth minute of the game Júlio Perez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but horrivel plate's Júlio Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in horrivel plate's zone, Júlio Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Valle came out of the goal and Júlio Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 played minutes Tibaji EC got a freekick which was hit by Durval Cardoso. Júlio Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Perez in the 38th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Júlio Perez took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Júlio Valle to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caio Santana was the one to do the kick off. Sílvio Luiz de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, horrivel plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Severo to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Mendes, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 65 played minutes horrivel plate got a freekick which was hit by Caio Santana. In the 76th minute Júlio Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Tibaji EC's Júlio Perez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tibaji EC's Sílvio Luiz de Medeiros suffered a sore knee after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 86 minutes, Adolfo da Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the horrivel plate and the Tibaji EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tibaji EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
