Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisão Macedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cipriano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho de Queiroz in the 12th minute of the match. Kauã Paulista charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauã Paulista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Kauã Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Tibaji EC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho de Queiroz came free, but Cipriano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Marcinho de Queiroz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tibaji EC's Cipriano Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Marcinho de Queiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cipriano Monteiro was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Luiz de Medeiros during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SoulSocietyX booed when Tibaji EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes, SoulSocietyX's Juarês Maciel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cipriano Monteiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SoulSocietyX reached it. In the 37th minute Marcinho de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lucas do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SoulSocietyX's Marcinho de Queiroz in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tibaji EC's goalie prevented a goal. Sílvio Luiz de Medeiros got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Júlio Perez made the kick off in the second half. Tibaji EC's Mário Berger collided with an opponent after 52 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. When Raúl Pires fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SoulSocietyX's protests and gave Raúl Pires a yellow card for diving instead. Raúl Pires hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Nico Vinhas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Cipriano Monteiro made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcinho de Queiroz got free with Cipriano Monteiro in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Marcinho de Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the SoulSocietyX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcinho de Queiroz couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the game, Júlio Perez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tibaji EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SoulSocietyX the free kick. The supporters of SoulSocietyX booed when Tibaji EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas do Valle was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Durval Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Tibaji EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Durval Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Júlio Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ernani Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernani Paes came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Tibaji EC's Júlio Perez. But to his dismay, Júlio Perez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 83 minutes, Evandro Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SoulSocietyX and the Tibaji EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SoulSocietyX getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Evandro Dias hit a great ball. Lucas do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcinho de Queirozs short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Cipriano Monteiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Vinhas got free with Cipriano Monteiro in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Lucas do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. SoulSocietyX's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas do Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tibaji EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
