Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Duarte Lara made the kick off which started today's match. Carlinhos Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Maciel having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Carlinhos Godoi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Guaraci EC's Narciso Maciel. Narciso Maciel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Arcade FC's Silas Albuquerque got a free kick in the 14th minute. Arcade FC's Dorival Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Almeida in the 17th minute of play. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Doriva Zonta sped through Arcade FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dorival Macedo. Duarte Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Guaraci EC's zone, Carlinhos Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Maciel came out of the goal and Carlinhos Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noel Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Macedo having to interfere. After the first half Guaraci EC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noel Almeida to strike the kick off in the second half. Duarte Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Lara in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Maciel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Doriva Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noel Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaraci EC's Narciso Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Lara in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute Duarte Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Guaraci EC got a freekick which was hit by Manoel de Carvalho. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guaraci EC's goalkeeper Narciso Maciel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Doriva Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Macedo having to interfere. Guaraci EC's Narciso Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Lara in the 80th minute of play. After 84 played minutes Arcade FC got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Sousa. Doriva Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Arcade FC's zone, Noel Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Macedo came out of the goal and Noel Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute Noel Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had been going on for 95 minutes, Guaraci EC's José Carlos Monteiro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dorival Macedo. The Guaraci EC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guaraci EC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
