Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dalmo de Souza made the kick off which started today's match. When Pardos AD's Dedê Cearense in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berlim's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Berlim getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Laerte Carneiro hit a great ball. The supporters of Berlim booed when Pardos AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Berlim's Diogo Toledo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Horácio Berger. Horácio Berger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Diogo Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Berger having to interfere. Josué Penha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horácio Berger. Pardos AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dedê Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Vale having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dedê Cearense in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diogo Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Horácio Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute of the match Bebeto Vale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horácio Berger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anísio Sarmento charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anísio Sarmento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Berlim's Bebeto Vale shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Horácio Berger but with some difficulty. Luís Fernando Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Luiz Gustavo Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diogo Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Berlim booed when Pardos AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pardos AD's zone, Diogo Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horácio Berger came out of the goal and Diogo Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 minutes, Gilson Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pardos AD and the Berlim players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Pardos AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Laerte Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Anísio Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dedê Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogo Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Horácio Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falcão Mota scored 2-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horácio Berger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 84 minutes, Dedê Cearense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pardos AD and the Berlim players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dedê Cearense hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Zé Roberto Cearense hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Horácio Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Toledo in the 88th minute of play. Miguel Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedê Cearense in the 89th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Berlim fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pardos AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
