In the 6th minute, Téo de Almeida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GOL DE LINS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rubens Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubens Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 12 minutes into the game, one of Guedes F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for GOL DE LINS. Wilson Lucas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sidney Leme. 0-2. 19 minutes into the match, Téo de Almeida notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Guedes F.C.'s Sidney Leme. Sidney Leme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sidney Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24thth minute of the game Conrado Peixoto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guedes F.C.'s Sidney Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, GOL DE LINS's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson de Sena came free, but Ramón Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidney Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Peixoto in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Hermínio Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guedes F.C. and the GOL DE LINS players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes in the game, Conrado Peixoto dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Luiz Gustavo Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Wilson Lucas hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Váldson de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. GOL DE LINS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Guedes F.C.'s Albertinho Camargo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Téo de Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guedes F.C.'s Sidney Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conrado Peixoto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Sidney Leme when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Guedes F.C.'s Sidney Leme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Guedes F.C. from getting a goal against them. Téo de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GOL DE LINS played a much better game than Guedes F.C. and deserved their victory. The Guedes F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
