Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Panela FC's Alan Teles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, MagLevCobra's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Teles came free, but Elói Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naldo Romero struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Elói Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panela FC. 15 minutes into the game, Wilton Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MagLevCobra the free kick. After 15 played minutes Panela FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Fontes. In the 16th match minute, MagLevCobra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo do Vale to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Narciso Peixoto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elói Campidelis. MagLevCobra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Peixoto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arnaldo do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo do Vale in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doni Rodrigues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Naldo Romero came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Panela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naldo Romero couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Panela FC defense, Arnaldo do Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doni Rodrigues. The Panela FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doni Rodrigues should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Alan Teles made a precise shot to the right of Elói Campidelis. MagLevCobra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Romero in the 43rd minute of play forced MagLevCobra's goalkeeper Elói Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Panela FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo do Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MagLevCobra! The goalkeeper, Elói Campidelis, was totally fooled by Panela FC's Elói Paulista, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. José Maria Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Maria Gonçalves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Naldo Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Campidelis having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Arnaldo do Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MagLevCobra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The supporters of MagLevCobra booed when Panela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Gonçalo Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardinho Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Rodrigues having to interfere. Alan Teles hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Arnaldo do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Naldo Romero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Elói Campidelis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Evandro Koehler's late challenge caught a Panela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evandro Koehler helped the player get up and apologised. Evandro Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Panela FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
